With 24 hours to complete a hypothetical case study for a dream job at a record label, I was tasked with establishing a new creative direction for Rico Nasty’s brand as she prepared to roll out a new album.

Along with tapping into a younger, Gen Z + Gen Alpha fan base, the goal was to evolve her existing brand and image to match the album’s new sound while also avoiding alienating her existing fans.


Deliverables:

  • A brief summary for her existing brand and why her fans love her?

  • A strategic target for new fans (subcultures + trends to tap into)

  • A mood board of what I think her creative should look like

  • A few ideas of what a pre-launch activation could look like
